Drive is looking for a motivated, pro-active individual to take on the role of Marketing Assistant.  This is an ideal position for someone who is looking for a career in marketing within the events and experiential industry. 

The Marketing Assistant will work with the Group Marketing Manager; initially this will be a supporting role, with the potential to take on full responsibility within certain areas and help develop the overall marketing strategy.

The individual will gain a deep and valuable knowledge of the day-to-day running of the marketing department, as well as a solid foundation of how an independent creative agency markets itself.

The ideal candidate will have

  • A solid foundation in a variety of social media channels
  • A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office packages (word, excel, powerpoint)
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Excellent communication and written skills

 Key aspects of the role will include:

  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager to maintain and populate all social channels
  • Repurposing press materials for all social channels
  • Drafting copy for press releases and blog entries for website
  • Update marketing tracker and report into Marketing Manager
  • Manage and maintain all marketing assets the department requires, keep on top of internal deadlines
  • Keep PR contacts up to date
