It’s been a busy month at Drive, with ambitious projects launched to great acclaim for our clients and lots more underway.
Last Sunday, we teamed up with World Rugby and Essentially to deliver the spectacular World Rugby Awards to an audience attended by a star-studded guestlist of 1500 from the world of sport and celebrity, including the newly crowned Rugby World Cup champions, New Zealand. The event was also broadcast on Sky Sports 2.
As well as designing and producing the event, the Drive creative team were responsible for the impressive lighting design and install, and innovative stage design.
A spectacular two-minute projection mapping installation opened the ceremony, created in the Drive visual effects studio and included 2D and 3D animations with a choreographed lighting show. The evening was a dazzling one and we succeeded in our mission to create a slick and high impact ceremony that showcased our impressive technology and event production skills in tandem.
Earlier in October, we teamed up with Poker Stars, the world’s largest online poker cardroom, to create a video projection show celebrating Poker Stars’ ten years on the Isle of Man.
Using the very latest in projection mapping technology, we created a visually spectacular celebration of the island that served as a thank you from Poker Stars for their decade of residence on the island.
After a strong October, we’re looking forward to an even busier November with some very exciting projects in the pipeline.
