Double take on Regent St. with Doubletree and Drive

Hilton Doubletree joined up with the Woodland Trust at The London Regent Street Festival to promote the relationship between the national conservation charity and their ‘tree’ group of hotels.

Hilton Doubletree take their trademark ‘care culture’ pretty seriously and this time we see them raising awareness of the many woodland conservation and creation projects run all over the UK.

This is not an untypical gesture from the Hilton Hotel Group -  who make an effort wherever they have a hotel location to integrate with the local community – what better way than to support the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity.

Thanks to the whole team at Drive for putting together some great talent for our events in the UK. We look forward to working with you again on another successful Doubletree by Hilton UK PR event in the future.

Hampton by Hilton Launch Birmingham Star City

Another outing for the now renown branded motorised bed courtesy of Drive Productions and Edd China of roadworthy furniture fame. Having helped to launch both the Hampton Garden Hotel and Hampton by Hilton for the leading global hospitality family, their UK-based communications team came back to Drive for promotional assistance with their latest addition to the hotel portfolio, the Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Star City.

Our on-site photographer and promotional staff ensured the Hilton Group’s hotel brand in Europe achieved their marketing objectives with some prime publicity and press worthy action to catch the eye of the local public.

After all, taking a bed for an MOT is all in a day’s work at Drive Productions. And Edd China’s always pass first time.

Great job! I was really pleased with the way it all came together and the attitude of everyone on what was quite frankly a horrible, grey rainy day.

Sarenza High Heel Race

Author: Drive
09.10.2010

Apparently women will run for two things; the last bus or £2500 to spend on shoes. The stats haven’t been verified nationally as yet but a recent event produced by Drive Productions with our long-standing collaborators Frank PR might just be telling.

The infamous ‘Sarenza High Heel Race’, organised by Sarenza, France’s number one online shoe store in conjunction with Parisian event company D Concept, returns for a third year. But this time with a difference – the 8 teams selected from the fantastic French regional selections had to compete with British runners. This year’s Grand Final saw home-grown British talent take on the French in a battle to win an amazing £2,500 worth of shoes to spend at Sarenza.

Sarenza, as a French online shoe retailer looking to branch out in to the UK, needed to make a impact. The high heel race has been run for 3 years across France. The London event was the first outside France.

After weeks of touring all over France, the official Sarenza ‘van’ recently pulled up at London’s fashionable Brick Lane to find the fastest runners the UK has to offer for this year’s high heel race. Drive Productions were on hand to make sure the event ran smoothly, supplying outdoor venue, lighting, promo and staff.

32 teams, each team composed of 3 girls, all sporting heels of at least 3.15 inches – that’s 8cm minimum – to race each other in a 3.60 meters relay.

Presenting the selection was MTV presenter and fashionista extraordinaire Zara Martin, who looked lovely in a pair of Annabel Winship shoes – one of the latest labels found on Sarenza online.

Congratulations go to Misty, Samantha, Annabel and Tolu who all made it through to the grand final in Paris in November.
